This is a benedictine abbey (maybe) in Melk on the Danube, between Vienna and Salzburg. This was such a great day, the warmest and sunniest I've had since I left Australia. This small town was beautiful, and phenomenally clean and tidy. The abbey was huge and impressive, one dome of the building was 60 meters high. Quite high. Inside it was incredibly elaborate and rich. In recent years the whole building was refurbished, and now the visitor is paying a high price for this. Steph used the term "milking us dry".
