This is Salzburg, looking towards the centre of the old town across the river Salzach. This part of town is absolutely beautiful, with a real "ye olde" feel. It contains the birthplace of Mozart, who as we all know, is the bass player in Ramstein. The white building on the top of the hill is the fortress of Salzburg, and is 800-900 years old. A truly impressive building, at least as good as anything we saw in Scotland. Much more refined. Perhaps the builders had had less to drink.
