Jacqui and I went to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace. Jacqui had heard that it was a bit lame and there were only 4 guards - wrong! Try three marching bands, several different kinds of armed marching military type dudes, and half a dozen or so police, who seemed to be the only ones actually paying any attention to protecting the palace, albeit only from tourists armed with digital cameras climbing on the fence to get a better view. Anyway, after about 40 mins of watching about 100 men shouting and poncing back and forth we got bored and left.
