The last weekend in March found us in Gotland, an island off the southeastern coast of Sweden. It has a rich history, having passed hands between Sweden and Denmark on occasion, and is geographically quite distinct from the rest of Sweden, featuring some strange limestone formations.
Spring has sprung! It was positively toasty at 3 degrees after our adventures above the arctic circle the week before!
Lots of churches. Lots.
Pink gloves, this season's must-have!
Stunning lighting, not sure why? Apparently photographers flock there.
John was quite taken with the bugs.
Gotland doesn't mean Goatland, that would be Getland, but there are a lot of goats.
If you've never seen a swan surfing, apparently it's a thing that happens.
